Check-In
What time am I able to check-in?
You can check-in anytime after 4 pm (16h00).
What time should I check-out by?
Check-out is anytime before 11 am (11h00).
My flight arrives late in the evening; will it be possible to check-in late?
There is a ‘key safe’ for any late arrivals and extra early departures. Please contact us if you wish to require this service.
My flight arrives early in the morning; will it be possible to check-in early?
Please be advised our standard check-in time is anytime after 4 pm (16h00). Early check-in may be possible if there wasn’t a booking for the previous week. We will only be able to confirm this 5 days before you arrive. You are welcome to leave your luggage free of charge in our Pool House. Please be aware that we aren’t able to extend the check-out time beyond 11am.
Services & Amenities
Is wireless internet available at the hotel?
Wireless internet is available at the Masseria, free of charge.
Is breakfast included in the price?
There is no food included in the price of your stay. If you wish to book any additional services, please refer to our website. There is also the vegetable patch with plenty of seasonal vegetables. A welcome basket is provided on arrival with artisanal bread, local delicacies, and a bottle of wine.
Is a laundry service available?
There isn’t a laundry service, but there is a washing machine available in the store room.
Is a shuttle service available?
There isn’t a shuttle, hire cars are encouraged, but there is a local taxi firm. We are able to organize the taxi. Please give at least a week’s notice to avoid disappointment.
Is the Masseria pet friendly?
We love all animals, however, in order to provide all our guests a comfortable stay, we have a strict ‘no pet’ policy to ensure any allergy sufferes don’t struggle.
Can I use the spa free of charge?
Yes, we just ask that you remember to turn it off when you aren’t using it. We try to keep as much of our electricity ‘green’ (solar/ photovoltaics) but please be aware that if left on for the whole week we are required to buy it from the grid which will mean that the weekly guest electricity allowance will be exceeded and you may be liable to an extra charge (pro rata).
Are kids allowed?
Our Masseria is a family home so we welcome all our guests, including the little ones. We have stair gates for the house steps, gates between the house and the pool, two cots and many board games. There are also plenty of pool inflatables and internet TV with Netflix. There is also a local babysitter we are able to put you in touch with.
How frequently are the sheets cleaned?
The sheets are cleaned every three days.
How frequently does the cleaner come?
The cleaner comes for three hours each day to clean the bathrooms and mop the floors. If you wish her to do any additional cleaning of the dishes you can organize this with her directly at a cost of 30 euros per hour.
Cancellations
What is your full cancellation policy?
Reservations are secured once the 30% deposit is made. These are non-refundable. The final 70% is due 30 days before the first day of your stay. This is also non-refundable.
What constitutes a 'week'?
All bookings are Saturday to Saturday. Please be aware that we cannot change the check-in day or reduce a booking to half a week. It is also not possible to just book a room or a reduced part of the Masseria as each booking has exclusive access to all of the facilities.
